OUR STORY
Playground Boxing truly began a long time ago, in the backyards of Weisensee. Inspired by the early days of YouTube boxing, 12 9th grade boys full of the fighting spirit got together and set up their very own boxing events. These weren’t your regular backyard brawls either, a press conference, weigh in and referee were absolute must haves for the fanatics.
The unique Ring design (3x3m) and shorter rounds made for fast paced and exciting fights, and with each Event more popular than the last, the two boys founded their own company in January of 2024. Today, Playground Boxing stands as the next up and coming promotion, who is trying to show the sport of boxing from a different angle. The promotion has proudly welcomed a whopping 2500 guests over the space of four events.
Lavi and Toivo are the proud founders and creators of the concept. They have shared a friendship for many years, and aside from being notorious troublemakers in school, who were always separated by the teacher, they were always big dreamers with the ambition to follow through.
It goes without saying (but we will anyway) that the real charm behind Playground Boxing are the fans and fighters. The fans have, time and time again, brought an absolutely electric atmosphere to our events, rivalled in passion only by the largest promotions on Earth. The fighter’s each bring their unique personalities and fighting styles, which have wooed fans since day one.
Although Playground Boxing has certainly cemented itself in the hearts of many, there is still a lot of work that needs to be done.

Our sponsor and supporter, AsiaSport has supplied Playground Boxing with top notch boxing equipment ranging from gloves to mouthguards. TeaserFilm and Stage Media have made each Event since January 2024 an exhilarating experience by suppliying the tech and livestreaming each unforgettable moment. Nevada Studios of Finland handles all of our IT needs for a streamlined user experience.
